THE BRETELLE&BRACES BRAND

The history of Bretelle&Braces began in Veneto, in 2004, when the Merlo brothers, in the garage below their house, combined the ideas and skills acquired in their thirty-year career in the accessories sales sector.

The goal of the two brothers was to take care of the Made in Italy tradition, playing with originality and creativity to give new impetus to a classic clothing accessory: suspenders.

During the first few years, the number of customers grew and from Veneto expansion throughout Italy began. Participation in the international Pitti Immagine fair, which promotes industry and fashion design, represented an important event for the company, which thus entered the international scene.

Bretelle and Braces suspenders were also beginning to be appreciated abroad, especially in the east, where the attention to detail of products Made in Italy was known and appreciated. Today the company dresses men from all over the world with its own accessories and supplies the best men’s stores and international boutiques.
